People might want to read up on the LDS church that some are mistakenly maligning in forums and comments on news articles about Mitt Romney. Whether you like Romney or not, and the man is human after all, the LDS church does an amazing amount of good work across the world, mostly for people who are not members of their faith.
Did you get that? MOSTLY for people who are NOT members of their faith. And almost all of the people helped, are people who never will have any capacity to contribute financially to the LDS church.
So... what's the motivation for the LDS church to do this? And why is it the fastest growing church?
